The '97 Livingston Lightning prides itself in fostering the individual as well as developing hockey skills.  We would like to honor those who have achieved academic excellence while playing travel hockey.  This shows the athletes' ability to successfully balance sports and academics.

 

  • Brendan Adams earned a 3.6 GPA from Threefires in Howell.  His favorite class is English and likes Mr. Tatman's classes.  Brendan wants to join the Army one day.

  • Brendan Cleary achieved a 3.6 GPA at St. Joseph's in Howell.  He likes Social Studies, taught by Mrs. Diller.  Brendan also plays basketball and baseball.

  • Joey DiGiacomo holds a 3.6 GPA at Highlander Way.  Joey's favorite teacher is Mr. Forsyth and says Gym class is fun.  He wants to become a Fire Fighter.

  • Mark Krzyskowski earned a 3.9 GPA from Threefires.  He likes to play hockey in Gym and thinks Mr. Cook is a great teacher.  He wants to be an Outdoorsman.

  • Thomas Montgomery earned a 3.6 from Ore Creek Middle School.  He currently plays lacrosse in addition to hockey.
    His favorite teacher is Mrs. Laber who teaches math.

  • Carlin Moynihan carries a 3.1 GPA at Centennial Middle School in South Lyon.  His favorite class is gym because they play floor hockey and Mr. Neidbaya  is a great teacher.

  • Nick Pratt achieved a 3.9 GPA at Highlander Way.  Nick says Mrs. Graf is a great teacher and he enjoys Gym class.  He also plays baseball.

  • Nathan Pryde earned a 3.9 GPA from Ore Creek.  His favorite class is Science and he thinks Mr. Jellison is a great teacher. 

  • Danny Smith carries a 3.9 GPA from Ore Creek and excels at Math class.  His favorite teacher is Mr. Bliznik.  Danny also plays Lacrosse and runs Cross Country.

  • Nick Stanko achieved a 3.4 GPA at Threefires in Howell.  Nick says Mrs. Barron is a great teacher and enjoys Science class the most.
